Leslie K. Browder, M.D. completed her medical degree (M.D.) and general surgery residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine from 1995-2006. She went to the University of Southern California to complete her fellowship in Colorectal Surgery in 2007. She then returned to the University of Nevada School of Medicine where she practiced Colorectal Surgery as an Assistant Professor for 7 years.
Dr. Browder is a board certified general surgeon (American Board of Surgery) and board certified colorectal surgeon (American Board of Colorectal Surgery) with Fellowships in the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons (FASCRS).
Dr. Browder specializes in diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. She treats various gastrointestinal cancers such as rectal cancer, colon cancer, and anal cancer. She also specializes in the treatment of diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, pelvic floor disorders, fecal incontinence, hemorrhoids, and fistulas. She is a leader in minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She also offers transanal minimally invasive surgery for polyps and early rectal cancer. Office based procedures for hemorrhoids are provided, as well as screening colonoscopies for cancer.
